You Are Cordially Invited To Attend A Very Special Event?
On Tuesday, October 21st, we would like to invite you to a very special event that begins at 5:30pm with a special presentation of TREEbutes to be shown at 6:00pm. Over the past weeks we have been collecting TREEbutes as they were done by community members for someone special and also TREEbutes done for our residents. The result has been a beautiful blend of touching thoughts, special relationships, fun and heart-warming tributes.
What is TREEbute? It is a reverse selfie! A means of honoring someone, by letting them know that something they did or said mattered?to you.. Which means; it?s not about you. It?s about your message to someone who gave something to you. It could be life, love, or a lesson. The recipient could be a parent, teacher, mentor, child, grandparent, neighbor, or someone you?ve never even met, living or dead that somehow impacted your life in a positive and meaningful way. Every single person wants to believe they mattered to someone. A TREEbute is a way to let them know about their legacy, what they are leaving behind and what binds us together like the branches of a family tree.
Again, the TREEbute event will be held tomorrow night, October 21, 2014 beginning at 5:30p.m. at Brookestone Meadows Rehabilitation and Care facility in Elkhorn. Join us for food, adult (and child-like) beverages, entertainment, stories and a special dedication.
